After our fantastic party on Friday night the 18th Sept it was time for a little r and r. Matakana fit the bill perfectly with a cute BandB, lovely dinner and no children it wasa lovely 2 days.

Great job Joe! Apparentley the Jammy Jewels were a great hit on the cake stand and sold out before the cook could even buy one. Lucky we snaffled a couple for afternoon tea.

A visit to meet Leroy

Our friend Jenny has adopted the most adorable spoodle puppy whom she has named Leroy (after Leroy from Fame.) We had a lovely visit and the kids and I were quite keen to swap Coco for a new dog... just kidding Coco. Leroy gets to go home in a few weeks off to his new home with Jenny in Hawkes Bay... we will be looking forward to our first visit!

Yes that is green hair, Kindy Disco was on Friday night and we jazzed up the obligitary superman outfits with a bit of hair styling. A friend took heaps of photos so will put some up this week.
